Saturday, June 12th Musical Evening: Davy Sturtevant
Composer/musician Davy Sturtevant performs on banjo, mandolin,
fiddle, acoustic, electric, and resophonic guitars – and voice. His
wide-ranging musical talents draw from traditional ballads,
Appalachian fiddle tunes, East Africa, classical music, bluegrass,
rock ‘n roll, and jazz. Last year we heard his music with the
performance of the SoMar DanceWorks. This year, he’s center
stage.
Saturday, July 10 Musical evening: Sarah Sawin &
Brian Whiton
Back by popular demand! Two outstanding, award-winning young
musicians take the Brick Church stage again: Sarah, daughter of
Farwell (Junior) and Heather Sawin of Lovell, a classical flutist, and
Brian Whiton of Portland and Stoneham, a classical saxophonist.
Friday, June 18 Two
Born to be rock stars but destined for juggling, brothers Matthew
and Jason Tardy present, explosive, inventive, unbelievable
performances! A new show for audiences of all ages by the duo
who were a great hit last year.

Saturday, July 24 Musical evening: Idol Hands
Folk? Bluegrass? Jam? Blues? String band? This original young
quartet of versatile musicians from the Lakes Region of New
Hampshire has something for everyone: great songs (some their
own), dazzling interplay of voices and instruments, and sheer fun.
Saturday, August 7 Musical Evening: Dan Moore
A tour de force on keyboards, this well-loved performer returns to
the Brick Church to take us on a new musical journey – this year,
from Bach to Boogie on piano and harpsichord.
All shows begin at 7:30 PM unless otherwise noted.
Tickets are available at the door. Refreshments will be available at intermission.
Saturday, September 11 The Mollyockett Chorus
A chapter of Sweet Adelines International, a world-wide
organization of women who sing a cappella in the barbershop
style, the Mollyockett Chorus’s blend of humor and harmony is a
local favorite. This year’s show is loosely based on the old
Johnny Carson show – only, with a twist, it’s The Connie Jarson
Show. . . .
